In December of 2012 the house that was built by Stuhr Museum's founding benefactor, Leo Stuhr's father - Peter Stuhr, was relocated to the grounds of the museum and placed in Railroad Town, the re-created late 19th century living history community at the museum. This blog will explore the process of taking this modernized 150 year-old house and reinterpreting it as the Peter Stuhr home in the 1890s.
